Philly-Based Brand Agency, 20nine, Announces Acquisition Of Brand Incubator, Nucleus Brands, And Hiring Of Jason Weidner As COO

PHILADELPHIA — January 23, 2019 — Philly-based creative brand agency 20nine continues to build on its commitment to purpose-driven branding and delivering full circle solutions by acquiring Nucleus Brands and naming its CEO, Jason Weidner, as 20nine’s COO.

“Today’s consumers are expecting brands to be more purpose-driven and deliver higher-order value to society,” said Greg Ricciardi, President/CEO, 20nine. “Acquiring Nucleus accelerates our ability to build brands with more meaning for clients and brands of our own. 20nine has always been entrepreneurial in nature so this makes total sense.”

We live in a time where brands are being defined by their values and the way those values impact their actions. This makes it critical for existing brands to see themselves through a “purpose lens” and new-to-the-world brands to figure out their purpose from the start. Which fits in perfectly with 20nine’s approach to the work.

Nucleus Brands is a portfolio of Direct-to-Consumer brands, living at the intersection of smart product development and strategic marketing. The mission is to leverage ecommerce as the main distribution channel, while creating value for customers in high demand categories with opportunity for innovation. These products inspire consumers to share their experience with others and proudly represent the brand as a reflection of themselves.

By adding this capability, 20nine enhances its offering of brand development, digital marketing, social media, product design and development, to now deliver a high value platform that completes the full circle, from concept, to bring-to-market strategy, to operationalizing it in the digital age.

“We’re excited to engage with clients who are committed to bringing a greater sense of purpose and meaning to the brands they sell but also to continue building purpose-first brands of our own,” said Jason Weidner, COO, 20nine. “Nucleus home-grown brands will continue to be developed under the flag of the new brand incubator that includes Waggery (pet products), Freetown (lifestyle apparel) and Matsy (home goods).”

Signature Sleep Introduces New Line Of Nanobionic® Mattresses

NEW YORK CITY — January 23, 2019 — The best way to kick start a great day begins with a good night’s sleep. Getting rest which adequately rejuvenates and restores you is a vital part of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Regular physical activity promotes better physical and mental health and an overall better mood. The more active you are in your day to day, the higher your need for deep and effective sleep. Which is why having a mattress to restore and aid in recovery is so critical in your daily routine: move, improve, sleep, repeat.

What if you could press reset?
Signature Sleep is proud to unveil its latest innovation – the Nanobionic® Reset mattress designed to promote quality sleep which in turn promotes a healthier lifestyle. The mattress itself comprises multiple layers: the first is a charcoal and gel-infused memory foam layer, which provides a cooler sleeping surface that helps regulate body temperature. Following, is a layer of natural Talalay that allows for superior airflow, distributing heat away from the body. The core of the mattress is made with independently encased coils that minimize motion transfer, help to relieve pressure and contribute to a more restful sleep.

Lastly but certainly not least, the top layer includes the Nanobionic technology.

So what is Nanobionic technology and how does it promote a better night’s rest? Nanobionic is a high-tech patented coating, in the form of a liquid substance, which transforms body heat into Far Infrared Rays (FIR) and reflects them back to the body. Far Infrared Rays are invisible waves of energy which have the ability to penetrate, soothe and stimulate the human body. This in turn promotes a temporary increase in local blood flow and helps to soothe muscles to promote restful sleep and increase comfort.

This recycling of the body’s energy also helps to reduce cold feet and hands, optimizes thermoregulation and helps to enhance faster recovery from your day to day life. Nanobionic® products are regulated by the U.S. FDA as medical devices and general wellness products.

This ground breaking technology was originally used in athletic apparel to aid with recovery and has now been integrated into different textiles such as mattresses – allowing for wellness to be achieved at every stage of your day.
