With Honour Announces New Modern Modest Sportswear With Active Cooling Technology

WASHINGTON — October 2, 2017 — U.S. based product developer, With Honour, is unveiling a range of stylish yet amazingly functional active fashion wear for modest women and athletes. With Honour noticed the need for modest clothing that suits modern women, so they decided to create it themselves.

The With Honour range consisting of self-cooling “SnapJab” and “Aurora hoodie” will be preselling its products through the crowdfunding platform Kickstarter. During a 30-day sale the range will be selling at a discount.

Having spotted a gap in the market for a fashionable, comfortable and practical modest activewear, the team went out and spoke to female athletes in more than five countries. The quest was to create the ultimate clothing range for these women, and the result is the With Honour range.

The garments were first designed to be functional with easy access non-snag snaps, snug fitting yet comfortable with amazing built in active-cooling tech that keeps you cool no matter what the sport.

The company then took that functionality and made it beautiful. “We wanted to create a range of active wear that is ideal for serious female athletes but can be worn by anyone,” said founder Kamal Kalifa.

Kalifa, firmly believes that “What you wear should never limit what you can achieve.”

Groundbreaking For House Of Technology Of Jowat SE

DETMOLD, Germany — September 28, 2017 – Jowat SE is investing in the future of bonding by building a new and future-oriented innovation and application center at the company’s headquarters in Detmold. The new, striking House of Technology will serve as a meeting point and offer a tangible experience of bonding technology for customers and partners. It will feature showrooms, labs and training space, as well as state-of-the-art industrial equipment for tests and demonstrations.

Around 50 years after the first production plant was built in the Ernst- Hilker-Straße, numerous guests joined Jowat at the ceremonial groundbreaking on the site of the future center for innovation and application — a multifunctional House of Technology with a highly representative appearance.

In the front section of the building, a wide range of exhibits along with the related explanations will bring the technology of bonding closer to visitors. The “KlebBar”, a small bistro with access to a patio, will be another attractive meeting point. Furthermore, the ground floor will include many different laboratories on an area of 1,200 square meters (m2), such as a chemical-physical analytical lab with an adjacent lab for substrate and material testing. The upper floor will hold offices and meeting rooms.

An auditorium arranged over two floors with a total capacity of 200 places which can be divided into separate areas will provide space for all kind of events. In addition, the House of Technology will feature a 200 and a 500 m2 big machinery room with different modern industrial equipment from all application areas served by Jowat — flat lamination, edgebanding, profile wrapping, deep-drawing of automotive interior parts, textile material lamination, as well as packaging and bookbinding. The equipment will be used for external and internal testing and training, as well as for demonstrations. A sculptural staircase in the reception area leads to a gallery which provides a unique view from above of the various rooms for visitors.

Given the great significance of the wood and furniture industry for the Jowat Group due to the different Jowat adhesives which are used in a wide range of applications, the new building is based on a timber construction. Outside, on the surrounding walkway, wooden beams — symbolizing adhesive strings — connect the floor slab with the roof.

In late autumn 2018, after a projected construction period of only 12 to 14 months, around 45 employees from two departments of Jowat SE — the Technical Support and Service as well as the Jowat Analytical Service — will work from the new building. All construction and moving procedures are due to be finished at latest by 2019, when the enterprise will celebrate its 100th anniversary.

Felix Schoeller Digital Media Exhibits For The First Time At SGIA Expo

OSNABRÜCK, Germany — September 27, 2017 — Felix Schoeller, the Germany-based specialty paper manufacturer, will be at this trade fair showcasing its S-RACE® sublimation papers and STYLine® nonwoven wallpapers specially developed for digital printing.

Visitors to Felix Schoeller Digital Media’s stand at this show will be able to see for themselves the high-quality portfolio of products for a wide range of digital printing applications. Felix Schoeller Digital Media is one of Felix Schoeller Group’s business units. The German specialty paper manufacturer markets its sublimation papers, which are known for their very fast drying times and extremely short transfer times, under the registered name of S-RACE. The papers, which have a microporous ink-receiving coating and sharp line definition, are suitable for both hard and soft substrates. S-RACE tacky is the first 100-percent microporous tacky paper on the market and has been specially developed for elastic textiles. This eliminates what is known as the “ghosting effect.” It is available in weights of 80, 100 and 105 grams per square meter.

“Our customer feedback reaffirms that with S-RACE we have developed a high-performance product for sublimation printing on both soft and hard substrates. Printers and distributors can come to SGIA and see for themselves just how many advantages our S-RACE sublimation papers offer,” says Florian vom Bruch, Senior Vice President and General Manager at Felix Schoeller Digital Media.

STYLine nonwoven wallpapers are the paper specialist’s response to the increasing demand for individualised wall designs. They were developed for use on all common digital printing systems such as latex, eco-solvent or dry toner printers and are certified for HP latex machines. Their excellent print results and softness to the touch, in combination with the fact that they are easy to use and have optimum dry strippability, makes them a winning choice.

Visitors to Felix Schoeller Digital Media’s stand no. 3274 in Hall F will find not only S-RACE sublimation papers and STYLine nonwoven wallpapers but all the other high-quality products in the business unit’s product portfolio. They include papers for solvent latex printing. These papers are coated with a solvent latex primer and have a special back coat, and are certified for HP’s Latex 300 and 3000 series. Four products are available in a glossy or satin finish and weights of 140 and 200 g/m² to suit different applications.

The back coat is in fact a thermal barrier that protects the papers from drying out during the printing process. The result is consistently fast drying without any paper curl, which guarantees trouble-free printing. The products are used at POS for signage, exhibition graphics or posters. Their high wet strength means that the papers are also suitable for outdoor use.

Jörg Borker, Senior Vice President and General Manager at Felix Schoeller Digital Media emphasises the vast spectrum of high-quality printing materials that can be seen and experienced first hand at SGIA. “Felix Schoeller Digital Media offers a broad portfolio of high-quality media in a variety of formats for all digital printing technologies.” We are looking forward to demonstrating them to our visitors at the trade show.”
