Paris-based Lectra, an integrated technology solutions provider for the fashion industry, has
signed Privilege partnerships with Parsons the New School for Design and the Fashion Institute of
Technology (FIT), both based in New York City; and Raleigh, N.C.-based North Carolina State
University (NCSU), to support fashion education and further strengthen the company’s relationships
							with the three schools.
The Privilege partnership is one of two levels of partnerships that Lectra has formed with
fashion schools. The Advanced partnership, initiated in September 2007, provides end-of-studies
support and sponsoring to students preparing to become fashion professionals. The Privilege
partnership provides an individualized approach and follow-up founded on a very strong joint
commitment including support of teachers in their training efforts, professional skills development
and follow-up, individual support for student projects, and more.
“We are very proud to count Parsons, FIT and North Carolina State University among our most
valued partners, which demonstrate the value of our ‘Privilege’ partner program and the perfect fit
between Lectra solutons and the needs of the fashion market,” said Veronique Zoccoletto, chief
human capital officer, Lectra. “These partnerships are a good illustration of the high quality of
							our education program.
