Uhde KoSa Form Alliance

Germany-based Uhde GmbH and Houston-based KoSa have formed an alliance to build polyester (PET) plants. Uhde, which formerly built plants for Hoechst AG, will work with KoSa, formerly Hoechsts Trevira international PET business, to supply processes for the production of PET bottle resins, technical filaments for tires and industrial yarns, and textile fibers and filaments based on KoSas technologies. KoSa is pleased to cooperate with Uhde in this field, said James DelPiano, global director, technology services, KoSa. Uhde brings the strong engineering capabilities to implement polyester projects around the world from basic engineering to Lump Sum Turn Key, allowing KoSa to expand its market.
