The Fairfax, Va.-based Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) has launched a redesigned website, located at www.sgia.org. The American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC), Research Triangle Park, N.C., now offers Sustainability 2010 -- AATCC Digital Monograph Series Vol. 1 -- a searchable electronic collection of papers on Sustainability presented at AATCC conferences. AATCC also has issued a call for paper and poster abstracts for the 2011 AATCC International Conference, to be held March 22-24, 2011, in Charleston, S.C. New York City-based designer Liora Manné has debuted a new 100-percent polyester microfiber fabric collection that features her patented Lamontage™ process. The fabrics, created for furnishings applications, are available in more than 22 new patterns and solids and in multiple colorways.

The Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry (INDA), Cary, N.C., is accepting nominations until September 1 for the 2011 Visionary Award, to be presented at the Vision 2011 Consumer Products conference Jan. 10-11, 2011, in San Diego. Nomination forms are available at www.inda.org.

Rochester Hills, Mich.-based cf stinson has teamed with Quebec-based Victor Group Inc. to introduce the Jazz Collection of fabrics featuring Victor's Eco Intelligent® post-consumer (PC) Recycled Polyester with Agion® silver and copper ion antimicrobial technology. The fabrics are certified Cradle-to-Cradle SM Silver by McDonough Braungart Design Chemistry LLC (MBDC).

Dalton, Ga.-based Shaw Industries Group Inc.'s Anso® nylon fiber has received certification from Emeryville, Calif.-based Scientific Certification Systems for 25-percent PC recycled content, as well as Cradle-to-Cradle SM Silver certification from MBDC.

India-based Sava International Pvt. Ltd.'s facility has been certified to the Global Organic Textile Standard for the processing of cotton organic fiber.

Philadelphia-based CoverSports USA offers EnviroSafe™ 100-percent toxin-free, fire-retardant, hypoallergenic, latex-free foam made using 60-percent recycled material and 40-percent virgin polyester fiber for gymnasium mats, wall panels and padding.

The Textile Chemicals business unit of Clariant International Ltd., Switzerland, has implemented global price increases ranging from 5 to 40 percent, depending on the specific product group, for its textile chemicals and dyes. Clariant's Emulsion business unit has implemented a global price increase of up to 15 percent for its emulsion chemicals portfolio. In other company news, Clariant has released the Autumn/Winter 2011-12 edition of its Global Color Card and Leather trend booklet "Fashion Up!"

Singapore-based Huntsman Corp. has implemented a global price increase for all its titanium dioxide pigments. Increases are as follows: 8 cents per pound in North America; $150 per metric ton in the Asia Pacific; $175 per metric ton in Africa, Latin America and the Middle East; and in Europe, 150 euros per metric ton or $200 per metric ton in dollar-based markets. 

Fairlawn, Ohio-based Omnova Solutions Inc. has increased the price of Permafresh® Resins by up to 5 cents per wet pound; and has increased the price of all GenFlo®, GenCeal®, Omnabond™, GenCryl® and GenCal® styrene butadiene-based emulsion polymers by 3 cents per dry pound.
