Effective Jan. 1, 2008, Polymer Group Inc. (PGI), Charlotte, will increase the price of certain nonwoven roll goods by 5 to 7 percent. Increases will vary by product, and mainly will apply to products made with petroleum-based raw materials such as polyester and polypropylene.

PGI also announced that the price of certain polypropylene-based products will increase depending on region.
