ROCK HILL, S.C. — August 12, 2019 — SDL Atlas is delighted to announce a new agreement with Schap Specialty Machine Inc. to be the exclusive global distributor outside of the United States. The Michigan-based company’s testing and evaluation instruments are primarily used in testing seating and automotive interior materials.
Having already been a distributor of Schap’s Wyzenbeek Abrasion Tester and Gakushin Colorfastness Abrasion Tester, SDL Atlas and Schap already have a working relationship. With offices and experts in the United States, United Kingdom, Hong Kong and China, plus agents serving over 100 countries, SDL Atlas is well positioned to distribute Schap’s entire instrument portfolio under this new agreement. This includes colorfastness abrasion instruments like the Veslic Colorfastness Abrasion Tester, flex testers such as the Bally Flex Tester and Scott Crease Flex Tester and their revolutionary dry fogging tester which eliminates the oil mess and cost with traditional fogging testers.
