American Roller Co., a Union Grove, Wis.-based roller manufacturer, has acquired thermal and
release coatings manufacturer Plasma Coatings Inc., which has plants in Waterbury, Conn.;
Arlington, Tenn.; and Burnsville, Minn. The acquisition comes on the heels of American Roller’s
earlier acquisition of Champion Roller Co., Rock Hill, S.C.
Plasma Coatings is known for developing flame-sprayed special surface material coatings for
rollers and other industrial parts used in nonwoven, adhesive, converting and printing
applications, among others.
