Ernesto Maurer was elected president of the European Committee of Textile Machinery Manufacturers (CEMATEX) for a four-year term. He is president of the Swiss Textile Machinery Association, and has served as first vice president of CEMATEX for the past four years. The Washington-based National Council of Textile Organizations (NCTO) selected Lauren Biggs as the recipient of the 2020 Paul T. O’Day Scholarship Award.
