Canadian Linen And Uniform Service Appoints New General Manager At Vancouver Branch

TORONTO — May 2, 2016 — Canadian Linen and Uniform Service, a textile rental services and supply company in North America, today announced the appointment of Kris Groom to the position of general manager at the Vancouver branch. Groom most recently served as GM of the company’s Victoria branch and will now have fiscal and operational oversight over the Vancouver processing facility and affiliated service centers.

“Kris has consistently demonstrated his talents and leadership by engaging his teams, achieving results and driving accountability,” said Naiem Nairouz, senior vice president, Canadian Operations, Canadian Linen. “His work in our Victoria has contributed to the growth and stability of the branch and I know he will become a valuable asset to the Vancouver branch.”

Groom has been with the company for 15 years and has also held roles as Service Center Manager and Sales Manager. As service center manager, he managed the company’s Kamloops service center and successfully grew the operation from seven to 10 routes. Groom and his wife Kirsti are relocating to Vancouver with their daughter Tessa.
