Twitchell Corp., Dothan, Ala., has appointed
Jim Dixon president and COO of its primary manufacturing facility.

Scott Spears was named sales representative for
American Truetzschler, Charlotte, N.C. Spears will be responsible for managing
accounts in the Northeast.

Santex AG, Switzerland, as COO. Heinzelmann is also responsible for finance and
controlling for the group management of Santex/Sperotto Rimar.

Springs Industries Inc., Fort Mill, S.C., has announced that
Jeffrey A. Atkins, executive vice president and CFO, will resign from the company
in early summer.
Stephen P. Kelbley, executive vice president and president, Home Furnishings
Operating Group, will retire from the company by year-end. Successors to these positions will be
announced at a later date.

Lester Dupuy Sears has joined
WestPoint Stevens, West Point, Ga., as senior vice president, finance and CFO.
Sears will replace Executive Vice President, Finance, and CFO David C. Meek, who recently left the
company. In other new appointments at WestPoint Stevens,
Robert B. Dale has been named senior vice president, sales and marketing;
Joan Amberg was appointed senior vice president, merchandising;
William T. Walker is the new senior vice president, sourcing;
Authur “Art” Birkins joined the company as senior vice president, basic bedding;
and
Nancy Golden was promoted to vice president, licensing.

Kellwood Co., St. Louis has named
Jeffrey Stein vice president, sales and merchandising, Kellwood Menswear. The

Otto Zollinger Inc., Spartanburg, S.C.

Globecot Inc., Nashville, Tenn., has appointed
Robert P. Antoshak CIO. Antoshak, a textile industry veteran for more than 20
years, has extensive experience in areas of strategic planning and information management.

Hahn International Ltd., Stamford, Conn., a consulting firm to international
textile, apparel, home product and related industries, announced the addition of
J. Patrick Danahay as senior director and management committee member. A past
president of the American Textile Manufacturers Institute (ATMI), Danahay worked for 27 years at
Cone Mills, Greensboro, N.C. Hahn also named
John R. Clemens senior director and member of the management committee. Clemens is
a former managing director of the Bank of America Corporate Apparel/Textiles/Furnishings Group.

Air Products and Chemicals Inc., Lehigh Valley, Pa., has promoted
John McGlade to vice president and general manager, Performance Chemicals,
Chemicals Group. McGlade has global responsibility for the emulsions, epoxy,specialty additives and
polyurethane chemical additives businesses.
Scott Sherman has been named vice president and general manager, Chemical
Processing Industries and Energy Systems, Gases and Equipment Group. The company also appointed
Michael Hilton vice president and general manager, Industrial Chemicals, with
global responsibility for the amines and polyurethane intermediates business.

Dr. Ulrich Bolleter will succeed Philip Mosimann as the new head of
Switzerland-based
Sulzer Textil. Mosimann is leaving Sulzer to pursue other opportunities as CEO of
Bucher Industries, Switzerland.

Squires Hightech Corp., Stamford, Conn., has named
Joseph Barbera marketing director. Barbera has a background and experience in
launching new products for outdoorwear and home textiles.

Ralph Boe has been hired to head both hard- and soft-surface flooring operations
for Beaulieu Residential,
Beaulieu of America, Dalton, Ga. Boe fills the position that was left open after
the resignation of Piet Dossche.
