SOMERSET, England — May 14, 2021 — Technical fabric manufacturer Nonwovenn has appointed Mark Kirkup as operations director. Mark will play a leading role in supporting the company’s future growth strategy.
With more than 30 years of industry experience, Kirkup joins Nonwovenn from STADA group, a private equity backed business, where he served as vice president – U.K. Operations from May 2019. Prior to that, he spent five years as general manager, U.K. operations at Fresenius Kabi.
Kirkup has a track record of delivering exceptional results in senior operations roles within the medical device and pharmaceutical arena and has been appointed to drive the future growth of the business from an operations perspective as Nonwovenn looks to invest further in new machinery and new processes, with an aim to double its growth over the next three years.
On his appointment, Kirkup said: “I am delighted to be joining Nonwovenn at this exciting time, to build upon what has been an organically successful business. I’m looking forward to developing and delivering an operations function capable of supporting the company’s exciting growth strategy and seeing our plans come to fruition over the months and years ahead.”
