Ed Gribbin is the founder and CEO of Gribbin Strategic LLC, a boutique consultancy focused on the apparel/fashion and retail sectors and offering services in the areas of growth strategy, business development, product development and supply chain innovation, executive coaching and change management. Gribbin is widely recognized as one of the world’s leading authorities on the apparel industry and serves on numerous global boards dedicated to the success of the retail, apparel and textile sectors.
In recent months, in his role as current president of AAPN, Gribbin helped organize contributors to AAPN Covid-19 Discussion Boards and connect companies to facilitate the production of critical protective equipment for hospitals and government agencies. Much of Gribbin Strategic’s focus today has shifted to producing PPE both in the US and FTA partners in the Western Hemisphere.
Mike Todaro, Managing Director, Americas Apparel Producers Network
Mike Todaro is the managing director of the Americas Apparel Producers’ Network, based in Atlanta. Todaro joined the staff in 1995. The AAPN has grown to be the only organization in the industry to have, as members, one or more of the leading companies in all 30 links of the apparel/textile supply chain ‘from the dirt to the shirt’. Today nearly 200 organizations and over 1,500 senior executives are networked with daily broadcasts and a 300 element online resource database. The AAPN is known by US brands and retailers as the only true source of production in the Western Hemisphere. The AAPN runs industry conferences worldwide including the Annual Conference, Regional Conferences, The AAPN Carolina Mill Tour, Leadership Forums and more. Todaro is a retired US Air Force Lt.Col. and a retired IBM Apparel Industry manager.
