Pantone Releases ColorMunki™ Create Software Solution

Carlstadt, N.J.-based Pantone Inc. — an X-Rite company and a provider of professional color
standards for the design industries — is now offering Pantone® ColorMunki™ Create, a software and
hardware solution that automates color palette creation and provides an assortment of tools for
color selection, allowing designers to manage, search, verify and share color palettes.

“With its intuitive software user interface, ColorMunki Create helps designers navigate
through the color identification and specification process more efficiently, offering a variety of
ways to select colors and create palettes in a safe viewing environment,” said Andy Hatkoff, vice
president of advanced color solutions, Pantone. “With the addition of basic monitor calibration
capabilities, ColorMunki Create also ensures designers that the colors they are viewing onscreen
are accurate.”

In addition, ColorMunki Create has a PrintSafe™ feature to let users know if the colors in
their palettes can be achieved on different paper stocks, and a Snap To feature that allows users
to predict how palette colors will reproduce in different print situations.
