SYFA Fall 2016 Spring Meeting — “Diverse Elements Of The U.S. Supply Chain … Leaders In Action”
The last ever Synthetic Yarn and "Fibers" Association (SYFA) Fall Conference took place September 29-30, 2016, at the Sheraton Charlotte Airport Hotel in Charlotte. During the meeting, association President Roger Crossfield announced that the SYFA board voted in favor of a name change. Going forward, the organization will be known as the Synthetic Yarn and "Fabrics" Association, and therefore will continue to be known by the same SYFA acronym.
According to SYFA, " The new name reflects the expanded supply chain and broadens the reach of the membership base to appeal to a wider audience beyond fibers and yarns."
The next SYFA conference will be held Spring 2017.
As always, attendees heard from 10 speakers on a variety of topics as shown in the photo gallery.
