RadiciGroup Introduces Zeroxy™ Flame-Retardant Yarn At Heimtextil

Italy-based RadiciGroup — a chemicals company focused on chemicals, plastics, synthetic fibers and
textile machinery — showcased its new flame-retardant Zeroxy™ polyester yarn at Heimtextil, held
recently in Frankfurt. The yarn was developed through a collaboration with Switzerland-based Noyfil
S.A., Korea-based Huvis, and Switzerland-based Lagam S.A.

The flame-retardant and self-extinguishing properties of the fiber are embedded at the
molecular level, and the yarn maintains its colorfastness, wear resistance, quality and safety
throughout the manufacturing process, according to Radici. The yarn is suitable for hospitality,
home and transportation fabrics.

“The development of Zeroxy has enabled us to offer our customers a high performance product
that not only meets their aesthetic requirements, but also gives great added value in terms of
functionality and safety,” said Andrea Borgis, marketing manager, RadiciGroup. “It is the product
that can best meet our customer’s needs.”
