ShanghaiTex 2013 Exhibitor Preview: Kornit Digital

KWUN TONG, Hong Kong - June 10, 2013 - Kornit Digital, the leader in direct-to-garment and digital roll-to-roll textile printing solutions will attend ShanghaiTex 2013, China's top textiles industry event, to show how NeoPigmentTM technology has revolutionized the textile printing sector. During the event, which takes place from today until June 13 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC), the Kornit booth (W3D31) will showcase the Allegro textile printing machine and the Storm II and Breeze direct-to-garment printers.

Kornit's proprietary NeoPigmentTM printing process has proved a cornerstone of its success in the market. The technology enables digital textile printing customers to harness all of the benefits of pigment ink while avoiding the drawbacks. NeoPigmentTM is also far more environmentally-friendly and efficient than dye-based formulations, providing users with an easy way to reduce the environmental impact of their operations - an increasing concern for today's consumers.

NeoPigmentTM is highly versatile and suitable for printing on multiple fabric types. NeoPigmentTM prints have an excellent hand feel, a wide gamut, bright and intense colors, as well as long-term durability and wash fastness. Kornit's water-based pigment inks are easy to work with and 100% biodegradable and toxin-free. At the same time, NeoPigmentTM greatly reduces printing time and production costs compared to solutions that require offline pre-treatment.  Moreover, the NeoPigmentTM inks meet all the industry's acceptable fastness standards, such as washing and rubbing, and show exceptional UV fastness capabilities compared to dye-based inks as well.

"Our goal in developing the NeoPigmentTM process was to offer our customers all of the benefits of textile pigment digital printing, in a more environmentally-friendly way than had ever been possible before," said Eyal Manzoor, Kornit Digital's Managing Director for Asia Pacific. "The NeoPigmentTM process enables our customers to achieve outstanding print quality across our entire portfolio of direct-to-garment machines and the Allegro roll-to-roll single-step printing solution. It reinforces Kornit's position at the forefront of innovation in our industry."

The Kornit Allegro is a roll-to-roll printer that represents the world's most advanced digital pigment printing solution for textiles. Capable of printing with the same ink-set on any type of fabric without the need for any pre-treatment or post-print wet process, the Allegro is a genuine one-stop solution and an entire textile printing line in itself. It offers excellent print quality and quick cycle times and, by incorporating the NeoPigmentTM process in the Allegro solution, the 7-meter production line eliminates the need for any additional steps. Its totally dry printing process makes it by far the greenest printing solution available for textile printing today.
