ITMA 2011 Exhibitor Previews

Hall 4, Booth A122

LTG a leading manufacturer of fans, air washers, filtration, dust collection, and waste handling equipment for the textile industry will show at ITMA 2011 in Barcelona its new CompactDrum filter type CDF.  It is a self-cleaning filter with 2, 4, or 8 smaller filter drums, based on LTG's successful inside loaded filtration technology. Like with the large LTG drum filter the airflow for this filter is from the inside to the outside and the drums are stationary. Suction nozzles constantly rotate and clean the inside of the drums. "The advantage of this filter over the large drum filter is the modular system", as Ralf Widmann sales manager of LTG Aktiengesellschaft in Stuttgart, Germany explains. "This filter usually ships completely assembled and factory tested. With increasing air volume additional modules are added. It requires less space, compared to standard drum filter technology. The filter media can be replaced quickly and the filter can be shipped completely assembled even including the filter house."

LTG will also show a small prefilter, another part of the modular system, which matches the outside dimensions of the CompactDrum filter. Again this component can ship completely assembled.

Various fans and the LTG fiber compactor, a workhorse in the textile industry for many years as a separating and compacting device, will be on display as well.Energy savings has always been an important topic for LTG. The WeaveDirect diffusers WDA and WDB have always contributed to saving energy in the weaving mill. Using this diffuser will reduce the required air volume by concentrating the humidity directly on to the loom. If you are not familiar with it, do not forget to ask an LTG representative about WeaveDirect.

LTG is looking forward to your visit in Hall 4, booth A122.
