Hohenstein Extends Americas Services

The Hohenstein Institute, Germany, has added infrastructure and staff as part of an expansion of its services in the Americas. In addition to Hohenstein Institute America Inc., established in 2009 in Elon, N.C., to serve the U.S. market, the institute also has contact offices in Brazil, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Mexico, and Peru.

"The Americas are critical textile and apparel markets," said Sam Moore, managing director, Hohenstein America. "As these regions enjoy a resurgence in strategic value to U.S. retailers and brands, we will ensure that the quality and safety tests and certifications that these companies require are accessible in any country where they do business."
