Huntsman Unveils Dyes In Lanasol®, Novacron® Ranges

Huntsman Textile Effects, Switzerland, has introduced Lanasol® Black chrome-free reactive dyes that produce a range of black shades on wool and other animal fibers. Huntsman's Miralan® LTD low-temperature dyeing auxiliary is added to improve dye performance, help reduce processing time and lower costs. The company reports the Lanasol dyeing process provides good reproducibility, minimizes damage to fibers, and is more cost-effective than processes using chrome.

Huntsman also has launched Novacron® S reactive dyes that produce deep shades. According to the company, the dyes - Deep Orange S-4R, Deep Cherry S-D and Deep Night S-R - are economical and meet mill reproducibility, washability and fastness efficiency requirements.
