Datacolor Obtains ISO 9001:2000 Recertification

The International Organization for Standardization has approved ISO 9001:2000 recertification for Lawrenceville, N.J.-based Datacolor's Quality Management System at its Lawrenceville and Suzhou, China, facilities. Det Norske Veritas performed an audit to ensure Datacolor complied with stated procedures and international standards for ISO 9001:2000, which is based on eight quality management principles including customer focus, involvement of people, leadership, continual improvement, process approach, system approach to management, fact-based decision-making and mutually beneficial supplier relationships.

"Achieving ISO 9001:2000 recertification ... is a direct result of our entire organization working together to ensure the highest quality products and services for our customers," said Terry Downes, president, Datacolor.

"We are very proud of our Lawrenceville and Suzhou teams for their contribution in helping us earn this prestigious recertification," said Doris Brown, vice president of marketing. "This is just one more example of our ongoing commitment to achieving excellence in everything we do."
