Grand Rapids, Mich.-based Turnstone and New York City-based Designtex - both Steelcase Inc. companies - have introduced new fabric options for Turnstone's seating collection. Designtex has created seven new patterns and a total of 77 textiles.

HeiQ Materials AG, Switzerland, has received Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 certification for its HeiQ AGS-20 TF and HeiQ AGS-20 MB silver-based antimicrobial products.

England-based Mowbray Communications Ltd., in partnership with Frankfurt-based Messe Frankfurt GmbH, has released a new textile labeling guide that explains organic textile standards and certification, and eco-textile labeling. The handbook, available in both English and Chinese, can be ordered online at www.ecotextile.com.

Los Angeles-based Meglobe has launched a free public beta real-time translation service for instant messaging, enabling users who don't speak the same language to chat online. The program is located at www.meglobe.com.

The Research Triangle Park, N.C.-based American Association of  Textile Chemists & Colorists (AATCC) has partnered with India-based E and T Textile Resources (E&T) to provide local support services for AATCC members in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam. E&T will provide membership support and development services under the name AATCC Membership Services Associates.

Greensboro, N.C.-based Unifi Inc. has launched a new website dedicated to its Repreve® family of 100-percent recycled yarns. Located at www.repreve.com, the new site is part of Unifi's "Repreve. For the Planet" campaign, and provides information about Repreve's eco-benefits.

The National Textile Association, Boston, has published the Worth Street Rules and textile industry standards and practices on its website, located at www.nationaltextile.org. First published in 1926, the Worth Street Rules have been available only in print until now.

Roswell, Ga.-based Kimberly-Clark Professional has joined the Netherlands-based DSM Dyneema's global licensing program for protective gloves. Kimberly-Clark plans to expand its Kleenguard® protective glove brand by adding cut-resistant gloves made with DSM Dyneema's Dyneema® fiber.
