SETeMa Introduces Line For Flag And Banner Market

The Netherlands-based Scientifically Engineered Textile Machines BV (SETeMa) has designed a modular finishing line featuring dye fixation, washing, padding and steam-drying functions. The line — developed for the flag and banner market and comprised of three modules including Porta-Clean, Porta-Pad and Portafix Universal — was created to minimize wastewater and be highly energy-efficient.

Porta-Clean features a high-performance rinsing process that removes coating and nonfixated dyestuffs. The Porta-Pad module is used to apply the finishing chemicals. The Portafix Universal module, suitable for hot-air and high-temperature steam fixation of water-based disperse dyes on polyester fabric, can be used as a stand-alone unit or in combination with the other modules.

According to SETeMa, the complete 2.5-meter-wide line offers a production capacity of up to 135 meters per hour.
