SDL Atlas Offers Creda Dryers, Ships Tester To TTIEH

SDL Atlas, England, has purchased the remaining inventory of Creda ISO 6330:2001 Domestic-compliant tumble dryers and is making them available to textile testing laboratories and other customers. Creda production was discontinued earlier this year.

SDL Atlas is offering the dryers in their standard form or in an upgraded version fitted with precision controls.

The company also will take part in an international working group that will research and write a revised standard for textile drying procedures.

In other news, the company has supplied a M021S tabletop Air Permeability Tester to Lubbock, Texas-based Texas Tech University’s Institute of Environmental and Human Health (TTIEH). Researchers at the institute are using the tester to determine the comfort and breathability levels of nonwoven decontamination wipe and protective apparel inner liners.
