Mayer & Cie Offers PIC Upgrade

Germany-based Mayer and Cie. GmbH and Co. KG now offers Pattern Information Center (PIC) 4, an upgraded version of its PIC software, which generates and transmits patterns to any electronic Mayer and Cie. jacquard knitting machine.

New features include additional desktop icons for easier access to functions, direct screen access to the color palette, and expanded patterning possibilities for transfer knits.

Mayer and Cie.'s Pattern Information Center 4 generates and transmits patterns to any electronic Mayer and Cie. jacquard knitting machine.

The PIC 4 software also features a pattern editor and repeat editor. The pattern editor enables the user to enter, depict and edit a pattern using up to 16 colors. The repeat editor allows up to four different patterns to be defined and repeatedly knitted simultaneously. An optional striping editor supports patterns with more than four colors.

The new system is available in English, Chinese, German, French, Portuguese, Spanish and Turkish; and requires a Windows operating system, 8 megabytes of RAM and a pentium processor.
