Dilo Enters Crosslapper Market

Germany-based Oskar Dilo Maschinenfabrik KG has completed the final trial runs on Hyperlayer, its first line of crosslapper machines. The top-of-the-line machine, Dilo Hyperlayer Type HLSC, runs at a web infeed speed of up to 300 meters per minute (m/min). Two other models, Type HLS and HL, run at speeds of up to 220 m/min and 150 m/min, respectively. All three versions of the crosslapper are suitable for web widths of up to 3.5 meters and layering widths of up to 10 meters.

Dilo's new patent-pending design which features carbon fiber composites, the Robot arm system, and a system of double screen belts enables production speeds compatible with the high web speeds of Spinnbau cards, according to the company.

To illustrate this innovation, Dilo will install a Type HLSC 25/35 in its demonstration center.
