Batson Adds Burris Machine Product Line For Converters

Greenville-based Louis P. Batson Co. has been contracted by Burris Machine Co., Hickory, N.C., to market its line of slitters, knives and accessories in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Burris recently unveiled its new Profit-Master line of slitters on the occasion of its 30th anniversary. The new slitters, which Burris says offer maximum productivity and require minimal operator training, are available in standard, heavy-duty and extra-heavy-duty models to serve a range of converting requirements. All models feature a variable-speed inverter motor, electric speed controls, adjustable tension and skew.

Accessory options enhance production and profitability. The company also can custom-design and manufacture slitters to exact specifications.
