Manufacturers Chemical Offers New Products

Manufacturers Chemical L.P., Cleveland, Tenn., a Synalloy Corp. business, has introduced EcoScour Ultra, a new product for scouring and desizing. According to the company, EcoScour Ultra offers the traditional scouring and emulsifying benefits of clay technology. These benefits include softer fabrics produced with less softener, low foaming systems, environmental improvements, lower cost and less chemical use.In conjunction with Atlanta-based Nova Biogenetics Inc., the company has launched a two-step chemical biodegradation process that protects equipment from microbial growth for up to one year. During the BIO-SAFE process, a powerful biocide is first administered to disinfect contaminated equipment. The biocide breaks down into harmless compounds within seven days. A patented antimicrobial is then added, traveling from the treated liquid to form a long-lasting protective shield on tanks, pipes and other equipment.
