Batson Sells Fehrer Machine To Clark Cutler-McDermott

Greenville-based Batson Group Inc. has sold a Fehrer multi-board needle-punching machine to Clark Cutler-McDermott Co., Franklin, Mass.

The machine features sequential needling zones and is used to manufacture products that require needling on both sides. It can be configured to function either from above and below, or from below and above the product. It is suitable for products such as blankets, carpeting, coating substrates, geotextiles and synthetic leather. Benefits include a reduced draft level, increased throughput speeds and minimal material shrinkage.
