Hipochem Reduces Dye Redeposition On Denim

Boehme Filatex Inc., Reidsville, N.C., recently introduced Hipochem DSB, a hybrid garment wet processing antiredeposition agent that combines Boehmes standard dispersants, including Hipochem CP-OS and Hipochem MRCJ.The new agent helps to prevent redeposition of indigo and sulfur dyes onto denim jean tags, labels, pocketing and areas of abrasion. The product also minimizes the quantity of cellulase enzyme needed to achieve the desired fashion effect, according to the company. Hipochem DSB is also available as a 100-percent active solid version, Hipochem CP-Conc., which is available for formulators and laundries capable of developing products for internal consumption.
