EWarna To Offer A And E Pantone Color Palettes

Malaysia-based eWarna has recently partnered with AmericanandEfird Inc. (A and E) and Pantone Inc. to offer the companies color databases in eWarnas Internet-based color collaboration technologies.Mount Holly, N.C.-based A and Es range of thread colors will be incorporated into eWarnas Xmatch color collaboration software.Previously, Xmatch has offered only fabric color palettes. It now features a trim search capability that allows users to access thread and other trim supplies. As a result, A and Es Global Color Palette, comprising approximately 1,000 of its most commonly used thread shades, will be available via the Internet to all users who select and communicate thread color. A and E plans to introduce its entire range of more than 10,000 shades in the future.Pantone Inc., Carlstadt, N.J., also will license its range of nearly 2,000 colors to eWarna for use in Xmatch, as well as XDyes and LabWorks Pro Web-based color collaboration technologies.Designers in the apparel, home furnishings and interior design industries use Pantone colors to specify and communicate color, said Richard Herbert, president, Pantone. By integrating Pantone colors into eWarnas cutting-edge color collaboration tools, our customers will be able to use the same color standard from inception through production.
