Xybernaut TEC Announce Marketing Agreement

Fairfax, Va.-based Xybernaut Corp., Chicago-based Technology Enabled Clothing (TEC) LLC and TEC subsidiary SCOTT eVEST have agreed jointly to market and cross-promote Xybernauts poma wearable computer and TECs SCOTT eVEST Version 2.0 apparel solutions for wearable electronic equipment. The two companies plan to educate the public about the benefits of wearable computers and their impact on the daily activities of companies and individuals. Industry analysts regard wearable computing as a key emerging technology trend for the coming decade. In related news, Xybernaut is evaluating textile webbing cables developed by Waltham, Mass.-based Foster-Miller as possible replacements for standard cables. The textile cables are more durable in apparel use, as well as being washable and comfortable, according to Foster-Miller.
