Dan River To UseNano-Tex Fabric TechnologyDan River Mills, Danville, Va., is the latest company to obtain a license for the use of Nano-Tex LLCs proprietary finishing techniques. Altering the fabric at the molecular level, Nano-Tex technologies create advanced performance and durability characteristics in treated fabrics (See Quality Fabric Of The Month, ATI, March 2001).Dan River will develop fabrics for trousers using Nano-Care and Nano-Dry technologies. Nano-Care imparts wrinkle resistance as well as oil and water repellency to cotton fabrics. Nano-Dry imparts moisture-management properties to man-made and blend fabrics.George W.
