GoreandAssociates Inc., Newark, Del., will establish a fabrics-manufacturing operation in China. The new facility, located near Hong Kong, will begin production of Gore-Tex® fabrics for both the regional and export markets in 2003. Thirty to 50 positions are expected to be filled by the end of 2002.Asia has emerged as a formidable textile supply and innovation center, said Terri Kelly, fabrics business leader.
