Pinco39 S New Astrotec Plus Eliminates Repinning Process

Pinco's New Astrotec PlusEliminates Repinning ProcessUnited Kingdom-based Pinco Ltd. has developed the New Astrotec Plus disposable faller bar for use in chain-driven gill boxes. The device, available through Cornelius, N.C.-based Allertex of America Ltd., completely eliminates the repinning process and is an economical alternative to using steel fallers and press-fit inserts, according to the company. New Astrotec Plus is manufactured from a redesigned one-piece steel core with a conductive, colored carbon-fiber body that breaks up static electricity and keeps the head cleaner. It is approximately 35 percent lighter than a conventional steel faller bar.New Astrotec Plus has been approved as a permitted repinning option on N. SchlumbergerandCie.s GC gill boxes.
