AAFES Adds Blister Guard Socks To Merchandise Offering

The Army and Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES), is selling New York City-based Friction Free Technologies Inc.s Blister Guard® socks at its retail and apparel stores for the U.S. Army and Air Force. Styles include a Blister Guard Boot Sock with added arch support and extra padding, and two Blister Guard PT Athletic quarter and crew socks that incorporate Friction Free® technology in the heel and toe to halt friction and heat buildup and eliminate chafing, abrasions and blisters. The Armed Services are currently considering including Blister Guard socks and Friction Free Technology as part of their standard issue equipment program. The socks are manufactured by Fox River Mills, Osage, Iowa. Servicing for the Blister Guard military line is handled by JRS World-wide, Virginia Beach, Va.
