BBA Industrial Nonwovens To Handle Reemay Marketing

BBA Industrial Nonwovens GmbH (BING), Germany, recently announced that it will now handle the sales, marketing and distribution of Reemay Inc., Old Hickory, Tenn. This business was previously handled by Nordlys S.A.Were excited about the possibilities BING allows for our customers, said Carol Webster, Reemay Inc. international business unit manager. Tekton® and Reemay® fabrics, together with other nonwovens offerings from Reemay Inc. have wide distribution throughout the world. With this central location, well be able to respond to our European customers needs quickly and efficiently.BING has a 3,400-square-meter warehouse in Peine, Germany that will handle Reemay product storage and distribution. Customer converting requirements can be achieved through on-site slitting and winding equipment.In other news, Reemay has introduced a new version of its QualiFlo® depth filtration media. This version can be cleaned and re-used. QualiFlo has gradient filtration with submicron efficiencies, exceptional dirt holding capacity and low pressure drop. The product can be pleated or used in other configurations.According to the company, Qualiflo has three distinct layers; one outer layer that is a fully bonded air-permeable continuous filament polyester web with filaments having a trilobal cross section; an inner layer that is a continuous filament polyester web with smaller fiber diameters; and another outer layer that is a fully bonded air-permeable high loft batt with a randomly dispersed blend of crimped polyester fibers.
