Frisby Spyder Partnership Selected By U S Ski Team

Frisby Technologies Inc., Winston-Salem, N.C., and Spyder Active Sports, Boulder, Colo., have announced that the companies will sponsor the U.S. Ski Team. This sponsorship was the result of the partnership in which Frisby, maker of ComforTemp® DCC (dynamic climate control) materials, will supply material to Spyder, a producer of technical ski apparel. Spyders Winter 2000 product line includes ComforTemp in four categories.Spyder will also incorporate ComforTemp into the outerwear uniforms for the U.S. Alpine and Disabled Ski teams.ComforTemp features and benefits meet the needs of todays U.S. Ski Team competitors, said John Walbrecht, vice president global sales and marketing, Spyder. Our Winter 2000 Authentics, Legends, Platinum and Gravity collections will feature ComforTemp, providing cutting edge technology. The ComforTemp system has the ability to absorb, store and release heat, cooling the body when it overheats or returning warmth to the body when it gets too cold. Using the bodys heating and cooling process, it can provide prolonged comfort and performance in any condition. (See Quality Fabric of the Month, ATI May 1998).
