Forstmann Announces Closing Of Louisville Plant

Forstmann and Co., New York, announced it is closing its Louisville plant and realigning the companys manufacturing facilities in Georgia.

The company will continue to produce all current woolen and worsted products as a piece-dye division and a fancy division.

According to the company, this move will make Forstmann more streamlined and efficient, and will ensure better quality, product development and delivery.

The company is looking at alternative solutions for its Louisville facility, including a possible sale.
