Thwing-Albert Introduces EJA Vantage Series Universal Tensile Tester
West Berlin, N.J.-based testing instrument manufacturer Thwing-Albert Instrument Co. has introduced a new EJA Vantage Series testing machine that has its own touch-screen control panel mounted to the side of the machine. This addition eliminates the need for a separate computer to run quality tests. The stand-alone instrument now can run tensile, peel, compression and coefficient of friction tests using the touch-screen controls, and the built-in Bluetooth system makes it easy to connect to a network printer to generate and print reports from the test results, the company reports.
The touch-screen is available in a 7-inch or 10-inch size. Customers may still elect to purchase MAP-4 software to connect the instrument to a computer. The additional software offers enhanced data analysis and additional user controls, according to the company.
