TenCate Mirafi® RS580i, manufactured by Pendergrass, Ga.-based TenCate Geosynthetics Americas, was found to be the best geosynthetic in a full-scale study performed by the Western Transportation Institute at Montana State University, Bozeman, Mont. The study, titled “The Relative Operational Peformance of Geosynthetics Used as Subgrade Stablization,” revealed Mirafi RS580i provided the best traffic benefit ratio and the best grade course reduction when compared with the other geogrids and geotextiles tested during the study.
