Sullair Debuts V-250S Single-Stage Air Compressors With VSD Technology
Sullair Corp., Michigan City, Ind., has introduced a line of V-250S single-stage rotary screw air
compressors with variable speed drive (VSD) technology.
Designed to reduce operating and energy costs over the entire compressor life cycle, the V-250S compressors adapt speed to output, resulting in conservation of electrical power and reduced stress on electrical and mechanical components, Sullair reports. The V-250S compressors are comparable to the company's constant speed models, but also contain Sullair's WS Microprocessor Controller, which is programmed to monitor all necessary functions and features a WSPC interface for service diagnostics and trending capabilities as well as a legible graphics display.
Sullair's V-250S compressors are available in three VSD models ranging from 250 to 350 horsepower, capacities of 1,085 to 1,580 cubic feet per minute, and pressures of 100 to 125 pounds per square inch.
