Morrison Textile Machinery Reports Sales

Fort Lawn, S.C.-based textile dyeing and finishing machinery producer Morrison Textile Machinery Co. reports recent sales of machinery to companies in Turkey and China.

Sanko Tekstil Isletmeleri, Turkey, has purchased two compressive shrinking ranges, each featuring S8 compressive shrinking units; AutoGRIND™ to record belt thickness and meters produced since last grind cycle; and GrindVAC to vacuum belt-resurfacing byproducts and talc.

Gap Guneydogu Tekstil recently upgraded its Morrison Indigo Rope Dye Range with the addition of wash and dye boxes and an AC Range Drive. According to Morrison, the modifications improve process flexibility and improve tension control, and enable deeper dye shades to be produced. The company also has purchased the MDS 450 Ball Warper, which features the programmable high-speed Servo Driven Linear Traverse; and Smart Lease™, Smart Stop™ and Run Time Maintenance Monitors, which the company reports are features exclusive to its Ball Warpers.

Guangdong Shunde Qianjin Jeans Co. Ltd., China, has installed its second compressive shrinking range from Morrison. The first was installed in 2004.
