NSA Introduces FR Control 2.0 Shirts

National Safety Apparel (NSA) — a Cleveland-based manufacturer of protective apparel for industrial safety applications — has introduced an upgraded version of its FR Control lightweight shirts featuring Boulder, Colo.-based Outlast Technologies Inc.’s Outlast® temperature-regulating technology.

The new FR Control 2.0 shirts provide an arc flash protection rating of 4.0 small calories of heat energy per square centimeter (cal/cm2), increased from 3.6 cal/cm2 in the original shirt. In addition, FR Control 2.0 also features spandex for stretch and comfortable fit.

The navy blue shirts are available in short- and long-sleeved styles, and NSA also has introduced a balaclava made using the new fabric.
