CEDARHURST, N.Y. — June 26, 2012 — Unlike typical Xenon light tubes, the lifetime LED's in Check-Line's new LS-LED series of linear stroboscopes never need replacement, making these high-performance strobes virtually maintenance-free. In addition, their state-of-the-art LED technology and custom optics deliver industry-leading brightness and uniform light distribution, while their high-quality construction makes them suitable for fixed mount applications in the toughest production environments.

Three models are available:

The LS-5-LED utilizes 80 high-performance LEDs and is designed for web widths up to 12 inches. The LS-9-LED and LS-18-LED feature 120 and 200 LED's respectively, and can accommodate web widths up to 20 inches. For larger webs, two or more LS-LED strobes can be linked to accommodate virtually any width.

All three strobes can be powered using 24V DC typically available on process equipment. An adjustable flash duration makes it easy to find the best combination between light intensity and image sharpness for every application. Accessories for external triggering, flash control, AC-Power supply and sensors are also available.

Designed for fixed mounting on a wide variety of machinery, LS-LED strobes are ideal for demanding visual inspection tasks, such as those in the printing industry.
