Kraig Labs Increases Transgenic Silkworm Yields
Kraig Biocraft Laboratories Inc., Lansing, Mich., reports its new laboratory has quadrupled the
company’s ability to cultivate the transgenic silkworms that produce its proprietary Monster Silk™
recombinant spider silk-based fiber. The increased capability is a further step toward the company’s
goal of commercializing the fiber, which has potential applications in a range of performance and
other textile end products
