Carolina Cotton Works Inc. Announces Facility Expansion And Bluesign® System Partnership
GAFFNEY, S.C. — January 2, 2012 — Carolina Cotton Works, Inc. (CCW) is pleased to announce the
completion of the expansion of its facility in Gaffney, SC. CCW added a warehouse for receiving and
distribution of fabric, taking its total facility site to 120,000 square feet. The company also
recently added new dyeing equipment to further support its growth in both the cotton and synthetics
finishing business.
CCW has also completed all necessary steps to become a bluesign® system partner. "As a leader in sustainability practices in our industry for years, we found that associating ourselves with the bluesign® system was a logical next step for our company," said Page Ashby, President of Carolina Cotton Works. "We have long believed in conservation of natural resources and minimal impact on our environment. The bluesign® standard provides us the assurance of best practices for our input stream that our customers will be able to count on."
