Huntsman International (India) Pvt. Ltd Gets Prestigious NABL Accreditation In Accordance With ISO/IEC 17025:2005
Singapore — September 14, 2011 — Huntsman Textile Effects is pleased to announce that its
laboratory in Mumbai, India, has been granted accreditation in accordance with ISO/IEC17025:2005 in
the fields of Chemical and Mechanical testing by the National Accreditation Board for Testing and
Calibration Laboratories (NABL), India. The accreditation numbers T-2022 and T-2023 were issued on
August 19, 2011 and cover a broad range of tests.
NABL accreditation is a formal recognition of the technical competence of a testing, calibration or medical laboratory for a specific task following ISO/IEC 17025:2005, ISO 15189:2007 Standards. This is based on third party assessment.
Laboratory Accreditation provides a ready means for customers to find reliable testing and calibration services in order to meet their demands. Accreditation to a laboratory is given on the basis of its capability to perform test(s) / calibration(s) and provide accurate and reliable results.
Classification of the Testing Laboratories is done on the basis of basic fields of testing. The accreditation granted to a laboratory remains valid for a period of two years subject to satisfactory annual surveillance.
