The TMI Group of Companies — a New Castle, Del.-based provider of laboratory testing solutions for a variety of industries including textiles — has acquired Germany-based Textilbedarf Langen (TBL) GmbH & Co. KG. In business for more than 75 years, TBL supplies machines, testing equipment and components and accessories to the European textile industry. TBL will add the TMI Group brand to its product offerings and will serve as TMI Europe's sales headquarters.

"The acquisition of TBL will continue to strengthen the TMI Group brand name in Europe and Germany," said John Sullivan, owner, TMI Group of Companies. "Our new offices at TBL in Germany will provide additional technical sales and service support to our European customers."
