ALBANY, New York — October 26, 2011 — Momentive Performance Materials Inc., a leading global provider of silicones and advanced materials, has expanded its marketing and technology operations in the Seoul Gasan Digital Complex with a new application development center to meet growing demand for specialty silicone products in Korea. The new center will provide customers with enhanced product development services as well as increased technical support for product performance testing and quality assurance, with a strong focus on electronics and automotive applications.

The new facility features state-of-the-art equipment for workability measurement, mechanical testing, viscoelastic performance, thermal aging testing, temperature/humidity stress testing, optical performance measurement and defect analysis. It will serve a broad range of industries in the region, including consumer electronics, personal care, coatings and urethanes.
